Two seasoned professionals joined the American Nevada Company team this fall. As assistant controller, Todd Brown, CPA, will be working under controller Katie Easter and brings decades of financial experience to his new role. Roxy Madjarian was hired on as senior accountant and will handle day-to-day financial duties while maintaining effective relationships with customers and vendors.

Originally from Tampa, Florida, Brown moved to Las Vegas in 2012 to work with Affinity Gaming and then Remark Holdings, where he advanced to vice president of finance. He has been recognized with multiple awards for his ability to reconcile accounts and maintain excellence in technical accounting research. Brown holds both a Master of Accountancy and a Bachelor of Science in Accountancy from the University of South Florida, and he looks forward to managing accounting operations and ensuring accuracy and efficiency at all steps.

Madjarian brings a variety of technical skills and communication experience to her role as senior accountant. She has worked in corporate and property accounting for a decade, supporting operations and reporting for assets including multi-family, commercial and retail. Madjarian has resided in Las Vegas since 2012, and prior to moving here, she attended California State University, Los Angeles, where she earned an associate degree, then completed a Bachelor of Science in business management at the University of Phoenix in 2008.
