St. Baldrick’s 2026 Wrap-up

Phil Ralston, American Nevada Company President, led his Bald by Design team to lose their locks for a great cause at the March 28 St. Baldrick’s Foundation fundraiser at McMullan’s Irish Pub. The team raised nearly $45,000 to support childhood cancer research with Ralston bringing in almost $21,500. Bald by Design was in the top three teams at the event that brought in more than $376,323. It’s not too late to add to that total. Donations can still be made on the team page.

Ralston wasn’t the only Bald by Design fundraiser to give up his hair; the team captain was joined by fellow shavees Alex Raffi, Ken Smith, Mark Dowell, Windom Kimsey, Daniel Dziedziak, Steven Kimsey, Riana Buckner, and Stephen M. Travis. The McMullan’s 20th annual event drew more than 220 participants and came in on top in the state and second in the nation for funds raised.

The St. Baldrick’s Foundation, a volunteer and donor-powered charity dedicated to funding lifesaving childhood cancer research, is celebrating its 25th year. It funds more in childhood cancer grants than any organization except for the U.S. government.
