Alma Apartment Homes recently welcomed its one hundredth resident, designer Jonathan Sanchez, with a brief ceremony, prize package and photo shoot.

“What first enticed me was the aesthetic of everything,” Sanchez said. “But what made me stay was the people. After meeting all of them I feel safe here. The people who run this place are good people.”

Alma assistant manager Taylor Holmes agreed that people make the difference. “We hire people who aren’t just employees. We are an Alma family. I see these people every single day. I know their kids. We know every name of every person who lives here. We build relationships with our residents.”

The 300-unit community is a development partnership between American Nevada Company and Tradewind Properties. In addition to a clubhouse, fitness room, pool and spa, the property features a dog park, fire pit lounge, putting green and pickleball court. It also hosts a co-working space for home and remote workers.

The community is located conveniently near landmark Henderson businesses, restaurants and shopping, situated behind Barley’s Casino and Brewing company, and a short walk from the Ethel M Chocolate Factory and Botanical Cactus Garden.
