Congress Passes the Childhood Cancer STAR Reauthorization Act and Fully Funds STAR Act and CCDI for Another Year

The House of Representatives just passed the Childhood Cancer STAR Reauthorization Act, legislation crafted by the St. Baldrick’s Foundation and Alliance for Childhood Cancer. This means the programs from the Childhood Cancer STAR Act – the most comprehensive childhood cancer bill in history – will continue for five more years.

Congress is also on track to provide $80 million specially set aside for childhood cancer programs!

Every voice makes a difference in accomplishing these outcomes. Thanks to the advocacy, contributions, and hard work of the AIA Las Vegas Bald by Design team, captained by ANC’s Phil Ralston, and many others like them, Congress is making childhood cancer a priority.
